Kindy Drama

AGES 4.5-5.5. We PLAY and harness the confidence that comes from being a kinder!

We believe that children thrive when given the freedom to laugh and express themselves creatively. These classes are all about playing drama games that inspire imagination, build social skills and encourage whole body communication.

Wednesday Melville 3:45-4:30pm

Junior Classes

AGES 6-8.

These classes are designed to help nurture the creative imagination and harness those playful instincts with like minded kids. Perfect place to channel your child’s inner thespian or improve social skills! Open to all!

Discovery Drama

AGES 9-12

Those Forever Skills are super important for our kids right now!

This class is the perfect start to the term to arm them with resilience, imagination and team work skills! 

Performance Skills and Informal Presentation

This class is the perfect start to learning characterisation, presenting dramatic scenes comes with critical thinking and challenges to arm them with resilience, imagination and team work skills!

This class will be performance focus to build confidence, explore emotional and social awareness, and help when their challenged in every day life. A small in formal in-house Showcase to present to parents at the end of term.

PATHWAY PROGRAMS

 

Advanced Performance

Strictly Ages 11-15 with ideally 2+ years drama or group improvisation experience or a strong dedication to the craft of acting for stage.

For the serious performer who would like to further their skills for performance .

Term 2 will be about students exploring a small script where they will take on characters, create dramatic tension and present their piece informally by the end of the 10 weeks to parents in-house.

The challenges in this term will stretch student's ability to think outside the box of traditional "representational" (aka realism) theatre, become familiar with Physical styles, audience and actor relationship and equip them with team work, resilience and social skills required for delivery of narrative and meaning.
