Our ACTIVE COURAGE after-school Drama classes assist children with imagination, creativity and curiosity.

They focus on:

· Creating a sense of belonging and team-oriented activities

· Verbal and Non-verbal communication skills and techniques

· Exploring imagination and sharing stories through fun dramatic role play

· Aligning with the K-10 Drama Syllabus and supporting General Capabilities such as Literacy, Social and Personal capabilities and Critical and creative thinking. 

We use highly practical, engaging activities to teach students to;

· listen, respond to and empathise with their peers;

· recognise and express a wide range of emotions and vocal techniques used in multiple theatre forms;

· embody different characters through music and movement;

· accept each other without judgement and; work as a team. 

Not only can playing different characters through theatre forms allow them to experiment with different ways of being, it also breaks down the self-consciousness that can keep shy kids feeling stuck and challenge those students who crave more creativity!
